Omnira is not a staffed agency. It is a practitioner-led firm — one person, one methodology, one standard of work.

The Name

Omnira.

Omnira is a portmanteau of the prefix Omni — meaning all, everywhere, in all ways — and Mira, the name of my late best friend.

Mira was named after the Russian word for star. She was the kind of person who made everything brighter, sharper, and more intentional simply by being present. The name felt right for a firm whose purpose is to help businesses see more clearly and move with greater coherence.

Omnira is built in her memory and operated in the spirit she embodied: direct, generous, honest about hard things, and unfailingly committed to the people in the room.

The Philosophy

The current and near-future capabilities of artificial intelligence represent an epochal shift in how businesses operate. Firms that learn to harness AI as a source of operating leverage will compound advantage. Those that treat it as novelty will slowly fall behind.

But the real opportunity is not automation for its own sake. It is the redesign of how information moves, how decisions are made, how exceptions are handled, and how institutional knowledge compounds over time.

In the Age of Intelligence, advantage will belong to the firms that design how their organizations think. Omnira exists to help them do exactly that.

The Practitioner

Matthew J. Solomon

I have spent the better part of twenty-five years building systems that did not exist before I arrived. Not inheriting them. Not optimizing them. Starting from nothing and constructing something that worked — at scale, under pressure, and with real consequences for getting it wrong.

The most formative chapter was a decade and a half inside a major US telecommunications corporation, where I co-founded the first workforce analytics function, led Policy Governance and Corporate Ethics, and ultimately designed and deployed the first generative AI governance program the company — or arguably the industry — had ever built. That program covered hundreds of thousands of employees and eventually expanded to Mexico and the EU.

Before that, I was in academia. I hold advanced degrees in existential philosophy, cognitive psychology, psychophysics, and neuroscience. I taught statistics at the university level — and my students always said the same thing: I made the numbers mean something human.

That is still the work. Omnira is what happens when you take twenty-five years of building things that mattered, strip away the corporate scaffolding, and apply the same standard of thinking to the clients who need it most — owner operators who are working too hard inside systems they never deliberately designed.
